Please could you clarify:
a) The source of these stats.
b) Are they based on the US population, or the population of the whole world?
c) Are they per year, per day, or per lifetime?
There are other factors involved too.
If you are Amish, for example, your chances of dying from a lot of these causes drops to zero.
Or if you are a "boy-racer" who drives like a mad-man every day of the year without wearing seatbelts, your chances of dying in a car crash go way up.
Also there is the fact that while the chances of any random US citizen dying in a plane crash on any given day, are low, the odds go way up once they actually board a plane - a fact that is not often mentioned.
